Change to Layout Plan
Change to Licence. 1. Amendment to the Conditions of Licence to include the following additional measures/conditions that will be put in place during any dance events held:
A personal licence holder must be present for the duration of the event.
Appropriate stewarding will be in place to provide appropriate control of the premises and those persons engaged in such duties registered with the Security Industry Authority.
The only forms of acceptable identification documents for age verification shall be original UK Photocard Driving Licences, Passports or a Proof of Age Standard Scheme Card (such as Scotcard) which bears a PASS logo.
If a voucher system in place for the sale of alcohol will only advertise the cost of one voucher and no incentive of promotion of multiple voucher purchase shall be advertised.
If a voucher system is in place, a maximum of 5 vouchers per person to be sold at any one time.
If a voucher system is in place, a maximum of 4 vouchers per person to be redeemed at any one time.
Challenge 25 will be implemented at both the point of sale of any voucher to purchase alcohol and implemented at the location where alcohol is served to voucher bearers.
There must be fully trained first aider on duty after 01.00 hours.
Bar to close one hour prior to the end of an event.
If a voucher system is in place, no vouchers for the sale of alcohol to be sold after 15 minutes prior to the bar closing.
2. Amendment to Question 2 of the Operating Plan to amend on sales opening time from 12:30pm to 11:00am on Sundays.
3. Amendment to Question 2 of the Operating Plan to amend on sales terminal hour from 12 midnight to 3:00am, Monday to Sundays.
4. Amendment to Question 4 of the Operating Plan to read "Braehead Arena, Foyer Bar and Boardwalk is only open during events."
5. Amendment to Question 5 of the Operating Plan to remove Gaming as an activity.
6. Amendment to Question 5(d) to include outdoor drinking facilities both during and outwith core licensed hours.
7. Amendment to Question 5 of the Operating Plan to the following:
"Conference facilities - generally provided for a full day, often before or after the core hours during which the premises are licensed to sell alcohol. Activity utilised regularly and generally held in main arena, main foyer area and/or the accommodating concourse areas and boardwalk.
Restaurant facilities - generally provided for a full day during private events often before or after the core hours during which the premises are licensed to sell alcohol. Activity utilised regularly and generally held in the main arena, main foyer area and/or accommodating concourse areas and boardwalk.
Bar meals/buffets - generally provided for a full day often before or after the core hours during which the premises are licensed to sell alcohol. Activity utilised regularly and generally held in the main arena, main foyer area and/or the accommodating concourse areas and boardwalk.
Receptions including weddings, funerals, birthdays, retirements etc - generally provided for a part day often before or after the core hours during which the premises are licensed to sell alcohol. Activity Utilised regularly and generally held in the main area, main foyer area and/or the accommodating concourse areas and boardwalk.
Club or other group meetings etc - generally provided for a part day often before or after the core hours during which the premises are licensed to sell alcohol. Activity utilised regularly and generally held in the main arena, main foyer area and/or the accommodating concourse areas and boardwalk.
Entertainment including recorded music, live performances, dance facilities, films, indoor/outdoor sports, televised sport - generally provided for a full or part day often before or after the core hours during which the premises are licensed to sell alcohol. Activity utilised regularly and generally held in the main arena, main foyer area and/or the accommodating concourse areas and boardwalk.
Outside drinking facilities - generally provided for a full or part day often before or after the core hours during which the premises are licensed to sell alcohol. Activity utilised regularly and generally held in the boardwalk area.
Adult Entertainment - generally provided for a full or part day often before or after the core hours during which the premises are licensed to sell alcohol. Activity utilised regularly and generally held in the main arena or main foyer area. The venue would ensure that a strict over 18 policy is in place.

9. Amendments to Question 5(f) of the Operating Plan as follows:
"Events including concerts, exhibitions, road shows, conferences, sporting events such as football, basketball, curling, gymnastics, ice hockey, darts, tennis, boxing, gaming exhibitions and other events such as trade fairs, and product launches etc - generally provided for a full day often before or after the core hours during which the premises are licensed to sell alcohol. Activity utilised regularly and generally held in the main arena, main foyer and/or accommodating concourse areas and boardwalk."
10. Amendment to Question 5(g) of the Operating Plan to say no to providing live or recorded music where the decibel level exceed 85dB and yes that more customers will be standing than seating.
11. Amendment to Question 7 of the Operating Plan to increase the capacity from 5200 to 6007 (to include the previous capacity allowed for in the foyer bar licence number PREM/367)
12. Amendment to the Layout Plan to include the foyer bar (currently licenced under PREM/367) and new boardwalk area.
13. Amendment to the postal address of the premises.
